TAGANAI

TAGANAI a Russian word translated “moon holder” and the name of the Ural Mountain chain that divides Russia from Siberia, features a cast of thirty multi-talented Russian performers including acrobats, aerialists, clowns, jugglers and dancers. The show brings a new lighthearted high-energy performance showcasing the best artistic disciplines that the traditional Russian circus can offer: high bar, flying trapeze, trampoline, skipping ropes, contortion-hand balancing, limbo and many other astonishing acts.

TAGANAI is completely different from Balagan, the first show we brought to Gold Strike,” said Misha Matorin, the show’s creator and producer. “Other than bringing top Russian performers to the States, audiences will find TAGANAI unlike anything they have ever seen before.”  Matorin, a veteran aerialist himself, grew up in the Moscow Circus, where his father was the director and his mother was a trapeze artist. The former guest creator of Cirque Du Soleil's production "Mystere" now uses his background and expertise to develop shows consisting of the finest aerial, acrobatic and discipline talents in the world.
