Horseshoe Casino & Hotel Opens Tunica County’s First Starbucks Coffee
TUNICA, MS – August 2006 – Horseshoe Casino & Hotel is now home to the first Starbucks Coffee in Tunica County, Mississippi. Guests of all nine Tunica properties, Tunica residents, and tireless casino employees alike can now enjoy the world famous coffee conveniently located in the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel’s lobby.
Much like a town’s first traffic signal, Starbucks Coffee has become a status symbol marking a town's arrival. And now Tunica County can boast yet another example of its growth as a gaming mecca. Horseshoe Casino & Hotel’s Starbucks is not only a first in Tunica, but the only location on Highway 61 between Baton Rouge and Memphis.
Tunica County has already embraced the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel’s latest addition. On opening day, it surpassed hourly guest counts for any Starbucks nationwide, and continues to break records daily.
