HOLLYWOOD CASINO OFFERS RIVERBOAT POKER
Hollywood Casino now offers Riverboat Hold’em Poker. Riverboat Hold’em Poker combines the excitement of Texas Hold’em with a shot at a big jackpot. The player and the dealer receive two hole cards and then share the three community cards to make the Best 5 card hand. A player has two chances of winning with the “River” bet and the “ante” bet. Play begins with a $5 minimum bet.
The player places a wager on the “River” bet. This bet wins with a pair of 7’s or better. A player never folds when he plays the “River”. The three community cards known as “The Flop” may reveal a winner regardless of the hold cards. The “River” bet is independent of the dealer’s hand, so no matter what the dealer gets the player can still win.
The “River” bet pays as follows: Royal Flush-250 to 1; Straight Flush-50 to 1; Four of a kind-25 to 1; Full house-15 to 1; Flush-10 to 1; Straight-8 to 1; Three of a kind-5 to 1; Two Pair-3 to 1; and Pair of 7’s or better-1 to 1.
The player, also, places an ante bet. Before the “Flop” is dealt, there is an opportunity to call, raise or fold. If a player folds, the hand is over and the dealer takes the ante. A player can “call” an ante by
matching it on the call spot. A player can “raise” the ante by placing two times the ante on the raise spot.
The dealer must have at least a king and a jack or higher to qualify. If the player’s hand is higher than the dealers and the dealer qualifies the player wins 1 to 1 on the ante bet and “call” or “raise” bets. If the dealer does not qualify, the player wins 1 to 1 on the ante bet. The dealer wins all ties.
