Harrah's Tunica Casino Group News Harrah’s Closes on Purchase of Corporate Campus MEMPHIS – May 2006 – Setting the stage for future growth in Memphis, Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. has announced purchase of a state-of-the-art, 285,000-square-foot corporate campus in east Memphis. Located on 27 acres on Goodlett Farms Parkway, the never-occupied building will become home to all of Harrah’s Entertainment’s Memphis operations, including accounting and finance, Harrah’s Central Division staff, information technology, along with a variety of other departments, and the company’s nationwide data center. Harrah’s currently employs about 550 in Memphis; the campus provides space for up to 900 employees. “Our merger with Caesars Entertainment one year ago made us the world’s largest gaming entertainment company,” said Anthony Sanfilippo, Harrah’s Central Division president. “We do not plan to slow down in the coming years, as we seek to expand into new markets across the United States and the world. Memphis will be a beneficiary, as we will need an expanded corporate support staff to support our ever-growing network of casino resorts.
