Clay Walker
A Few Questions, Clay Walker’s seventh studio album, his first for RCA Records, will arrive in late this summer. In many ways this launch will be a fresh start for Clay, though an unexpected one. With his first two singles reaching number one upon their release, Clay Walker immediately established himself as a commercial success. Unlike most of his new country contemporaries of the mid-‘90s, he was able to sustain that success over a couple of years, racking up no less than five number one singles in the first three years of his career. Born and raised on a farm in Beaumont, Texas, the hometown of George Jones. Clay fell in love with country music at an early age, when his father gave him a guitar when he was only nine years old. Clay’s debut album released in 1993 featured three number one hits and those hits then turned into four platinum and two gold albums that sold over eight million copies combined. Walker is the only artist to have one of his songs included five years consecutively in Billboards year-end Top 10 country list. Among Walker’s eleven No. 1 singles are “Live Until I Die,” “If I Could Make A Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” “Then What” and the most recent, “Chain Of Love.”
