All-Ages Theatrical COMEDY Production Aga-Boom
Created by Dimitri Bogatirev, AGA-BOOM combines the unbridled silliness of slapstick, physical comedy, goofy mime, theatrical expressionism, poetry and European avant-garde. The combination of these elements creates a new standard of comedy and according to the L.A. Times’ Don Shirley, AGA BOOM is “… closer to being literally riotous - as in so funny that the audience did more than just laugh - than any theatrical experience within memory! The kids in the audience were on cloud nine, but hardly more so than the adults!”
AGA-BOOM brings to adults the excitement, pure delighted amazement and wonder of childhood. The four-person troupe comes from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, The Great Moscow Circus and the renowned “Alegria” and “O” from Cirque du Soleil. On stage, AGA-BOOM brings together the best elements of circus, comedy and experimental clown theatre.
